Integrative Psychotherapy

I believe that a trusting and engaged relationship between the therapist and client provides a safe space for exploration and change. I am genuine and warm, offering trauma-informed psychotherapy to children, teenagers and adults with a strong emphasis on an integrative approach towards wellbeing, fostering healing and growth through both the mind and body. I specialize in trauma recovery, identity issues, anxiety, and depression. I work to empower individuals and families to identify and utilize their inherent strengths to navigate obstacles and interpersonal challenges.

I work through a collaborative and creative process that integrates various therapeutic modalities, including elements of psychodynamic, MBCT (mindfulness-based cognitive therapy) and somatic-based approaches. By using a compassionate, client-centered approach, I support others in developing an authentic and welcoming sense of self.

Education + professional development

I offer consultation services to healthcare professionals and educators who are interested in expanding their knowledge about the effectiveness of mindfulness in trauma healing, resilience, and self-regulation of stress, emotions, and behavior.

I support these professionals in understanding how to better integrate mindfulness practices into their programs in order to best serve the populations they work with. Through dynamic skill-building and education-based workshops, I work to support helping professionals on a personal and professional level.

parent coaching + support

I work with parents to provide a balance of support and encouragement, while bringing awareness of accessible tools that can be used to improve child outcomes and strengthen the entire family system. With compassion and authenticity, I honor the uniqueness of different family structures as well as individual parenting goals.

I offer support groups for parents and facilitate workshops focused on a range of parenting topics, including mindful parenting practices.

In a world of over-stimulation, yoga and mindfulness can be precious practices that help us slow down. Yoga teaches us to consciously move through ourselves, with ourselves, in order to know ourselves better. Yoga and mindfulness offer techniques to help meet difficulties - physiological and psychological - with curiosity and exploration. I offer private and group classes for children and adults that address the individual’s or group’s needs and interests. Private classes and workshops are currently offered over Zoom.
